Yeah, that's way too early on my off day. That ECR thing is from 11-5, so I figure I'll get to C&C around 9, then leave around 10-10:30.

 

my track tires are corded bad - i have no track tires at the moment - my front re11's were shot as well -i was corded on all 4 with belts on 3 of them

 

I did not see chris's at CnC - how was ECR? work got in my way or i would have been there -

Sorry we never saw you out there....I finally found your Z next to the Antique row....We walked all over that place yesterday.....It was freezing too !

I went out to ECR yesterday. They were doing an open track day for $75 (intermediate/advanced) and also allowing anyone to do the lead/follow for free. The turnout was pretty good, with the majority doing the lead/follow. The advanced group was small (I think 5 cars, lol) so it was merged with the intermediate group totaling around 15 cars. I didn't hear that my group was merged so I missed a session, but I still got 3 sessions in, with each at 20-25 minutes.

 

We will have to hit up the next one Chris....looked like Fun !

3+ sessions is great for that price.

 

I posted on Facebook that my I pretty much killed my brakes yesterday at ECR. The brakes overheated from being pushed too hard and all 4 corners have glazed up. It got to a point where I was having to brake at least 100 ft earlier at every corner and I had to get off the course. Those of you who have driven or been in my car know that it stops on a dime. Well, not anymore. My Brembos were already orange from previous track days but they're brown now. Here are some pics.
