I'd be careful..someone probably is on the look out for your car. I had friend who same exact thing happen, he garage his vehicle and left it out one day and they stole the whole thing.
well i'll see - - i don't know that my insurance will go up - its enough stuff that i would like to be compensated for it - replacing it is effort and money and time - and i've never made any claims at all on my insurance which i've had forever.

I hope nobody steals my car - that would be odd for me - - might be odd for them too -

If I'm not mistaken, your claim would be under your Comprehensive section of the policy....therefore they can't raise your rates for that.

Since there wasn't any other vehicle involved and there wasn't anybody at fault then they have no justification for raising your premium.

mike, you might be able to claim on your homeowners insurance since it happend in your driveway, back in the day when i was still living with my parents my car got broken into and stereo stolen, somehow or another they claimed it on homeowners since it happened on their property

I seem to read mix things about this. Some say it depends on your insurance..some I read didn't and some I read did go up. Before you do anything I'd take to the insurance. Cause once you file the claim there's no going back if your insurance raises. You'll be stuck for 3+ years of raise rates. Up to you though mike. That pimping leather jacket must have cost a grip

^ This

There's no way they can ding you for something that isn't your fault. It's no different than, say, hail damage.

(get it? ding, hail damage? )

They found a way to screw me lol but that's because i told the truth about what happened and the guy that hit me lied.

Wanted to give a huge thanks to Scott for doing my alignment today and hooking me up with some new tires after we discovered that two of my tires were corded. I owe Scott big time. And also thanks to Chris for coming over and helping out and for driving us to lunch. I owe you guys some brewskies and Scott even more.

He had a bunch of toe in. 1/2 inch in the rear and 1/4 inch in the front. We had to leave his rear camber out at -2.2 so we could get his toe in spec. A toe bolt kit is in his future. The front is about -2.2 and 0 toe now.

Are you going to be able to make the BMW Autocross on the 7th?
