Thanks Fitha I'm gonna be spending my Christmas Eve in the plane this year with unlimited drinks lol. Come to find out all I need is a ballast for my headlight but I can't seem to find one for decent price. Are there any vendors that sell oem parts?

There are a couple forum vendors that sell OEM parts, but they are dealerships also. Your best bet is probably Courtesy Nissan. They're local so it's much easier to deal with. Plus, they typical have the lowest price on OEM parts.

I just bought a ballast from eBay for $50, dealer wanted $130 with my discount. I guess I'm just gonna keep the headlight and clean all the condensation out of it . I heard you can drill a hole on the bottom to vent it. Have anyone tried that?

but... if you did that wouldnt it also let condensation in? when i had it in my rear turn signal, i took the bulb out and put a paper towel in there and it was gone when i came back in a hour. maybe get some of those silica gel packs and place in the turn signal bulb location...... would suck if it fell in though

That's what I thought too, but someone said it would help. I think I would just dry it out and that's it. Main reason why I got water in the light is the lack of fender liner which I'm about to purchase so that should help

Maybe I should look into replacing my torn fender liners..
I think drilling a hole into your headlight housing is a bad idea. Why do that when you can just open the cap or take out one of the bulbs?

I went out a few times in my F350 and there's no way I would take the Z out. My truck handles it all with ease, but I just came home from a movie and everything is frozen over again. What was slush during the day is solid ice now.

I drove last night to go get dinner. Really not that bad, but I can hear things in the middle of the car scraping where snow piled up in spots. The worst spots are stop signs in neighborhoods. I would end up sliding, and then since the roads are crowned I'd start sliding towards the curb. If it's light out it's probably not as bad since you can see what you're getting into.

Driving around during weather like that was one of the things I enjoyed most in Chicago. I wish I could get back out on the frozen lake in Wisconsin again; So much fun even though I wasn't going that fast.

Yeah, still in Korea and will be here until mid-December. Girls here are really skinny (overweight chicks are a rarity) and most of them dress really well, too -- lots of eye candy. This probably goes without saying but the Korean chicks here > Korean chicks in the States, by far. While there's a lot of hot girls, many are also fake as hell, as in they're products of plastic surgery. Still, they're very nice to look at.
Aren't those chicks wealthy up there ? You need to get yourself one of them.

getting in and out of my apts sucks. jake come over and got me and with his 4x4 truck he got stuck in my parking lot for a little bit. i see that it is melting but my car with that stillen lip, if i were to hit a ridge with it, it would rip it off. i hope that the company closes down tomorrow because of the weather.... if they do that then i still get paid for 8 hours
ChrisP what ChrisFilthy said. Please kidnap Park Min Young and bring her back to me thx
Travis you got stuck in the complex? It pretty much sucks to drive around lowered cause you'll be plowing the ice/snow around.
It's scary as hell driving around, other people drive really fast than slam on the brakes when they get to a bridge. Those uneven frozen ice just takes you wherever it wants as well.

I drove a year ago in really bad snow out in west TX. The problem there was that it was so rural that they didn't have anyone around to clear it off. They ended up plowing one lane of the interstate and opened around 10 am, so I was stuck in that lane basically. However, the 18 wheelers decided they could go in the unplowed lane, and would literally cover your car in snow they were blowing off. Trying to pass them was the same way.
The ice is pretty bad out there, but I only had issues at low speed either trying to stop or get going. There were definitely people driving way slower than they needed, and that almost seemed more dangerous.
