Hey Stu,

Chris is in Korea getting diagnosed for his medical issues he has been having.

He should be able to figure out what is wrong and get it fixed a whole lot cheaper than than in the USA.

Lets all hope and pray he gets better and comes back home in 100% condition.

FYI....if you want to get a hold of him....you can message him on FB.

He has access to to some wifi and can check his FB status.

** Get well soon Chris P. **

I didn't post about it here but yeah, I am currently in Korea. I had bled out to extreme anemic levels right before I was hospitalized a couple of months ago which was probably why the docs couldn't identify the source of my bleeding. Since I was given 4 bags of blood during my hospitalization I had fresh blood to lose since then allowing the docs here to more easily locate the source, lol. Anyway, they found the cause for the internal bleeding (lower gastrointestinal hemorrhages) and surgery went ok so I'm just recovering now. I'll be back in December, I think, so don't miss me too much.

So yesterday at the TT's in Mineral Wells...just as I was starting the parade laps, I heard my car making a funky sound. So I pulled off and as I parked I could tell there was an exhaust leak of some sort....well after jacking the car up and feeling by the passenger HFC...you can feel the exhaust coming out thru the heat shield. Sucks....I didn't know if my cat was blown or what at the time....so I just continued to race thru the day with it broken. After a few runs, you could tell the whole cat was now cracked off from the upper mount.

It really sounded like crap all day long...and the drive was horrible home with that loud *** droning sound in my ears. I still think my ears are ringing.

Anyways, took the cat off this am and here is what it looks like. I think the cat is still good and can just be welded back together.

*I cut the heat shield so I could see where the weld would have to go.

Travis,
I would love to if I were still working steady....but I haven't worked in over a month....and doubt I'll get any freelance until after the new year.

But anyways, I think they are fixable.....if not then I got a back up from Jake ! He just happened to have a passenger side HFC....Woot !

Thank you again Jake !

So i found out today that my dad has been having the same symptoms as crispy for the last few months and didnt want me or my sisters to know because he didnt want to pay to go to the doctor. Apparently this has been going on since june and has now gotten so bad that when he even passes gas he will have blood in his pants so my sister and i finally got him to agree to go to the doctor in the morning. Also found out today that he has skin cancer and will be going in to test of it's malignent or not next week. Crispy, any information you can give me on what you went through or what to look out for i would be unexplainably grateful for. I'm honestly scared shitless for him right now amd for my mother since shes already been widowed once from my biological father.

if he has a lower GI bleed his stool will look black and tarry. if it is bright red then he is not bleeding out in his lower gastrointestinal area, it is somewhere further down
