Not sure if you folks have any interest, but I just passed through Crest Nissan (the new dealer up in Frisco at 121 and DNT) to get a quick oil change on the Z. Talked with a guy named Shaun up there today and was able to pick his brain quite a bit and discuss some things regarding my Z and my plans for it. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and EXTREMELY honest and helpful. He's just the type of character that you meet for the first time, and can tell he's a real stand up guy. He pointed out some trouble spots that he found on my Z while he had it on the lift and even went over some tips and advice based on my plans while it was up there.
Highly recommended if you want to take your beloved Z to Nissan for work. It was very obvious that he is passionate about the Z and takes them VERY seriously, and loves what he does.

![Default](https://my350z.com/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif)
i am about to move, and have 2 holes in the wall that i ran hdmi and power cables through. need to patch them

i have the pieces i cut out, and watched videos... but don't think the hole is big enough to get a piece of wood behind it to screw the "plug" into. everything i read it to cut it bigger and do it that way

I've seen people buy those self adhesive wire mesh looking kit to patch holes. Would that work?
Also where are you moving to? I see you have numbers in your sig, did you get it dyno'd recently? Don't think I've seen it in your thread that you got dyno'd unless I missed it.

Looks like you are having plenty of fun with your vette, gratz on the new parts and numbers.
Its been a little while since i have worked with joint compound but if they are just 3/4" holes you may be able to just compound them 2 or 3 times to hide the holes. Sand smooth. Then paint.
Gl on the move to the new home

Can't you just fill it in with some putty crap and then paint over? Is there a weird texture you have to replicate?
I remember in college my friends peeled some of their paint off from their poster when they were moving out. I just painted over it and that helped hold the flaking part back on. Then I kind of brushed it to make it less shiny.
