It's not that cold outside, I was out for an hour at practice. I enjoy driving in the rain too, everyone goes slow and leaves the right lane since it gets flooded. I like to give everyone a free lawn sprinkle
midtx, that's a cool song, I like it.

not having a front plate is usually just an excuse for the cop to check everything out. I have been pulled over several times for no plate in my last car and they never issued a ticket, they just made sure I wasn't drinking and had all my papers up to date.

If they really want to, they can issue a ticket, but it's a "fix-it" ticket. If you show proof that you put the plate on the front of your car, the ticket goes away. However, most cops don't really care to even check your front.

Learned this from my friends dad, who owns the RUF dealership. Leave your front plate (just the plate, no frame) somewhere within reach, and if you get pulled over, pop it in the front window and just say, well it was there, sorry you didn't see it. Don't draw too much attention as your move about the cabin though or they might get suspicious. I believe the rule is it must be displayed somewhere on the forward facing part, so some people just wedge it in the gap between the dash and windshield.

Just don't leave the plate wedged inbetween the windshield and dash at all times. Seen people do this all the time and it can be very dangerous.
I've been stopped once for no front plate. Cop was a major *** but he gave me a warning. Thought for sure he was going to ticket me.
