What's wrong with Mustangs? I like the Cobras and up. The GT/Mach1/Bullit and below are too slow for the level of volume it produces for me.

Q, what do you work out?

Stephen, I'm telling you, man. Just buy my car. It's been proven to run low 13s with barely any mods. It now runs 12s easy. Help me help you while helping me.

I would probably buy yours Chris, but it is just too damn easy to pick and HR up cheap these days. I was introduced to Don Hearing Jr last week too so I might just see what he can do for me Evo wise... AWD is just sick

I don't know why people hate on American cars so much. I can understand not liking the more performance minded ones, but I drove the Tahoe to school today and I forgot how much I enjoy it. You can't expect too much out of it, or you will be disappointed. I mean, the steering is terrible compared to the FX, and I kept thinking I would drift out of my lane. It has 90k miles though, and no big problems. One thing I will never understand is the turning radius. I suck at pulling into parking spots with the FX, but when I pulled into a spot today, I actually got to straighten out before I had pulled all the way in. Also, I was impressed by the turning radius when trying to squeeze back out my driveway and into the alley.
I guess US automakers just do trucks alot better than cars. Maybe it is good then that GM will have Chevy, GMC, and Buick. Obviously, I like my FX alot more, but I don't mind the Tahoe every now and then. Plus it's a truck and I can worry alot less about hurting it.

I hate on them because other than the corvette, they do not do suspensions, transmissions (minus the allison tranny), or interiors right

I don't care what any of you say. I'm buying a Camaro SS next year. I'd like to keep the Z for a track car, but if it must go then so be it.

if i were to get another car i would get the 09 CTS-V and mod the hell out of it
but the only reason why i would get another car is if i got knocked up and it would be a great baby hauler
that or get an escalade that would work too

how much is your budget? you are going up and down. why don't you pick up 03~04 and build motor later?

You can get an RB26 for 4 grand... and in some cases you can find a full skyline for 5 grand... in Japan so you would have to pay the crazy shipping costs.

If I were to go with the RB26 swap I would find the cheapest 03-04 I possibly could for it. even getting an 03 or 4 to build the motor and turbo will cost a ton more than finding an RB26/tranny and just swapping the motor. since the 26 comes TT'd (at least of of the r32).

and if I decide that I want to just stay with the VQ platform I will with out a doubt get a HR. The simple fact that the connecting rods are massive compared to the DE's make for a ton of possibilities on the stock block, and meth injection and you can run even higher boost.

Right now I am just bouncing around a ton of ideas, I have always had the problem of wanting a project car as my DD. But swapping the VQ for a RB or 2JZ does sound like a lot of fun.

^ If you are looking for enjoy DD, go for HR ( G37 or nismo). Getting shipping from japan and swap all that thing sounds fun. But if there is one mistake you will lose lot of money or waste big time. but if you have a enough money and extra car to drive.. i don't see any problem tho...

New project sounds good tho...Today i was thinking about sell my Z or part out and pick up some 240 for new project..but i don't know..

Who's going to do the work this time around, Stephen? I hope it won't be the same shop as last time. I warned you about that place and you found out about it first hand not too long after.
