Good Morning Ya'll !

The Z has been in the shop for 2 days now and I should get her back today.

Miss driving her....I hope they fixed my problem this time. I thought it was
the " Rev- Limiter " was kicking in randomly and shutting off my airflow to the Throttle. But they replaced two O2 senors & the flow meter ?

Last time they replaced the MAF & throttle body. I am sure glad I bought an extended warranty good Until 2012 or 85,500 miles, which ever comes first.

Everything was covered fully...even paid to freight to have parts shipped out over night to Nissan so they didn't have to pay an extra day on my rental car.

Since I bought mine used, I got the extended warranty with mine. Last trip to get the oil changed, check engine light comes on after I leave the stealership. So I go back and they tell me it is a bad MAF sensor. I think it was quoted around $400 or something outrageous like that to replace it. Extended warranty covered it except for the new filter ($35). It's a pain to have to pay for it every month, but when it saves you like this, it is worth it.

Weird 2012 or 85k miles? Thought it was normally 5yr/100k mileage coverage.

What are you using as a rental? A ford focus?

I had an older Sentra as a loaner when my car was stuck there for two weeks while I fought with Nissan over my cracked rims. It looked like they just grabbed a Sentra that was being used by someone that worked there and gave it to me. It was dirty and smelled horrible. I didn't want to take it, but didn't have much choice since they really didn't want to give me a loaner anyway. That car bit a$$!!

My coverage started when I called for the extended warranty...So I had it inplace when I was at 35,500 in 2008. So the added a 4 yr / 48000 mile addition to my warranty....But I upgraded to a Platinum status which means they cover like almost everything & pay for rentals too.

They Gave me an Altima 2.5 ....Slow, but I like the Push button start !

I wish I could have one installed in my Z.

It would be kinda cool if they made a mod to use a newer keyset on an older car. keyless entry and start is nice
