So what does everyone think of The Shops at Legacy as a location for a large meet? With DJ's Give-a-ways etc etc

We would have one of the parking garages to ourselves. I might need to try and get both from them... Big plans... Big plans...

Anyone know of a place in Dallas with 500+ parking spots? Preferably a parking garage?

I have springs on my Z and I scrape in the parking garage @ the shops closest to the tollway. The garage behind Fox Sports has a lowered friendly incline

that would be awesome!!

p.s. i tried installing my kenwood dnx5140, but i came to a dead end, cause one of the screws were waayy too tight right under air condtioner box... and my the mini drill i had was to fat to fit under there and i couldnt find another screw driver. so while screwing everything back, somehow i lost one screw. like WTF! now ill prob do it on friday. this blows. i was so friggin excited to set it up, and now im all upset with a missing screw. OH and for some reason 2 of the screws wouldnt screw in all the way, like half way they would get tight and would still be hanging out half way.. so yeah 2/8 screws arnt screwed in right. and im missing one so 2/7. Dude only wants $200 bucks for them - https://my350z.com/forum/suspension/...nt-a-arms.html

I rate them 2nd on my list to purchase under SPL because:
In order to adjust camber, you have to remove the nut front the front spindle and turn the rod end.......i would hope that they would come with instructions to explain what each 360 degree turn would result to in camber increase and decrease, but regardless........you may run into additional charges getting the alignment due to the alignment tech having to:

remove alignment sensors from wheels
jack the car up
disconnect nut and spin rod end in or out accordingly
reattach nut/torque to spec
lower car back on alignment rack
reinstall alignment sensors on wheels
re-shoot alignment and - IF not within spec - do it again! until you get it right.

UNLESS its an alignment machine that can "shoot" the specs with the front off the air, some shops have machines that can do this...that makes it much easier. Most NTB's have John Bean alignement racks - and most have the capability to shoot the aligment with the car in the air.......Sooo, then its not to big a deal then.

POSITIVE THOUGH: PLEASE READ ON!

1. Once set, there is no way for it to move! by design...no slip, no nothing! ITS BOLTED INTO POSITION...CANT TURN WITH OUT YOU REMOVING AND TURNING IT.

2. AND!!! the bread winner of that design is this! while at the alignment shop you can have them turn it and get you a within oem spec alignment (NOTE DOWN THAT LOCATION BY MEASURING AND COUNTING REVOLUTIONS TO THAT POINT! THEN count the number of turns to a lower more negative alignment for your track/racing set up. MEASURE AS WELL AS COUNT TURNS TOO....

Once you know the number of turns/measurement from the base...you can do camber changes yourself at the track!!!! AND BE SURE YOUR WHERE YOU WANT TO BE!

WIN FEATURE with that design....

so in essence, the only fault is costly alignment....."if" your alignment shop does in fact charge you more for the added work.....get it?

So to me I like them for that...great set for the weekend warrior autoX'r...etc....THAT DOESNT CARE TO MESS WITH CASTER......AS CASTER IS NOT ADJUSTABLE ON THIS UNIT....

here's the thing about those front A-Arms. design is good but the execution is most likely kinetix like... in other words cheap and full of crap. never buy kinetix until they prove they arent full of junk.

Yeah I know the rep they semi have, but going off the design and bushings of these parts, i wouldn't be quick to judge them.........who knows in time with welds and stuff?? but i havent seen or read on that, so who knows?

it appears as if they did good.......the new ones shown here, i feel may just be stiffer if anything. (made from SSteel). The ends, lube'able polly bushings and all, i think this is a good product...

but it shines in its on track site adjust ability....just like SPL's ability to make quick camber changes on the fly on pit row.......
