Even if it does get enough traffic, the fact is that the previous restaurant weren't doing so well (for 1 reason or another), which could and probably will affect the next ownership.

So, the price is legit? I mean, for a straight up purchase (assuming there's still a landlord). What about equipment? Restaurant equipment is not cheap; maybe it's not included. There's something not right about that price (certain restrictions or limitations, particular obligations in contract, etc) or at least, lots of important details are missing.

Anyway, I need to get back to my reading; I've been reading all day, too.

Skip the sushi and try something different then. This should help you.

In all seriousness, why do older white people not like sushi? With what demographics are sushi more popular?

If you go to his sushi restaurant on the weekend you'll see that it's full of folks in their mid 20s to mid 30s. That place is pretty happenin with a fairly young crowd.

See, I think that's just a regional stereotype (read: subjective). I also think it depends on the setting/theme of the restaurant.

Chris - Is that $50,000 price tag a typo? Looking at the location, it doesn't seem like there will be much traffic, which may be the reason for the price tag (or am I missing something?). If it already has all the necessary restaurant equipment, it may not be such a bad investment.

I think it is legit, but you never know what kind of scams are out there on CL.

Highland Village has that new mall & it is rapidly expanding....I see lots of money in this area. There is already a Sushi place up there but not very good or nice. A lot of Flower Mound folks go up there and the rich people from Bridlewood too.

Got damn it..frigging downstairs bathroom went bezerk and overflowed/flooded out the toilet like crazy nobody even used the bathroom. I'm guessing there's a clog somewhere from the pipes cause showering from upstairs clogged the bathroom downstairs...**** was like 2" high or so I had to get in there and clean that crap up. I even turned the water off in that bathroom it'll still overflow somehow. Gotta call the damn landlord now..**** me off. Felt like I was casting for a new series of dirty jobs..just had to happen after I had already showered too.

There is a Sushi / Teppan-Habachi restaurant in Flower Mound on 1171 just East of 2499 called "Asahi" with like 6 or more Teppan tables.

Another in Lewisville called " Oishi " with a good amount of tables there too. I don't eat there anymore because we moved to FM.

Don''t know if they are actually making good money.....but whenever I go, it's always crowded.
