Also....Thanks Jake for pounding out my TRD springs on my DD Corolla.

That spring compressor is the freakin' Bomb ! We knocked out the 4 springs in 2 hours on a car that we didn't know crap about.

BTW, the car rides so much better now with those springs on it.....10X better !

 

scored some nismo pads for the brembos. after the last autox, i knew the centric street pads werent gonna cut it. they were like jello. these arent made anymore but i was lucky enough to score them cheap off ebay.

 

I have those Nismo Pads on my Z.......they don't make them anymore ?

 

not for the oem brembos but they still make sure yours.

Do you think it is worth paying all the cash for a BBK & doing a TT turbo kit on an older Z ?....Or just cutting your losses & buying a new Z with all that on it ?

Guy with an FX in Houston had like 110k miles and he bought a new motor, got it built, and is now running a single turbo set up. He looked at it as getting a new car after 6 years, but with no payments.

It really is inexcusable to be lied to about the condition of a car for sale. On the other hand, if the bodywork was done well and you can't notice it then you'll be fine.

Just my opinion, but don't go TT. It takes ALOT of money to really do it right... Just ask Jason. And spending alot of money on a BBK is a joke. Go to ArizonaZcar.com and get the Wilwood kits. $2100 front and rear = win.

It's official, I'm delirious! I've been at work since 8 last night. Going home whenever my relief gets here, watching cowboys game, washing car and going to southlake meet.

 

The temps are dramatically dropping! Today and tomorrow's high is only 75..awesomeness.

Still looking for a vehicle. It sucks. My rental has to be returned tomorrow.
