Thumbs up LCA bushing swap

Did one for a G today...glad I was able to help him save some $$$...

I also fixed my leaking rear caliper - I was lucky enough to find one a junk yard for 90 bucks vs paying courtesy parts...835 fking dollars

after bleeding it and running it again...brakes are SOLID and feel SOOOOOO much better...and to think - I raced with them that way..

Not that I have the cash on hand but out of curiosity can you pm me price on a set of oem brembos? I've been wanting to upgrade in the future and really don't have a clue on pricing. Thanks in advance.

oh I got it already B...even got it PC'd to match my new color...the leak was crazy bad - it SUCKED.. but now that I got a replacement already - everything is kosher..

Patrick - got to be on point man...you can source them for CHEAP.. check out car-part.com and you can find one here, one there type thing - OR you can keep your eyes open for CL or something like that. I scored mine from doing a BBK and asked the guy to sell me his brembo's.. I personally wouldnt pay more than 700 for a set..

That's good to know cuz I've seen them going for around $1600 on eBay. I don't have the cash now though, this is something I want to do next year. I just wanted to see what the ball park is on pricing.

^^ you can find the rears for about $125 each side...the fronts is where you have to "find the right deals"

If you want them PC'd let me know - I can get that done and rebuild them for you as well..

Sweet. I need to flush my brakes this week since it hasn't been done since I bought the car over a tear and a half ago. I wanted to do it before autox this Sunday and to just check everything out in the suspension. I tried to get ahold of Jason earlier to see if he could help me out tonight since I work nights the rest of the week but he hasn't gotten back to me yet.

They have had loaners the past few times. Chris was cool enough to let me borrow his extra one last time. So you should be good on helmet options.

I ordered a 3/4 dot helmet on amazon for 40 bucks last week. havent gotten it yet so it might suck, but it was cheap.

Ya I found two really nice bells online. One for 80 and one for 100 but money is a little tight right now with the new apartment and all so I just don't wanna risk any extra spending even if it is just $100. I went clothes shopping the other day and before I knew it, I had spent $450 that I really shouldn't have spent lol. Oh well, I have enough jeans to last a lifetime provided I don't get fat, for those of you that have met me you can tell that's not an issue lol, and I have shoes to last me for the next year or two.
