Soon, all bottom end parts will be in this week. Injectors early next week. It depends on how long the machine shop takes on cleaning the load of blocks we are about to send them.

Glad to see you're doing well, Jason. Hope I get to see you before I go back to Chicago again.

Stephen, so which part failed exactly? Build list? And what ECU are you using for the E85? ZOMG, Prof-EFI would be sex with the Can v2 gauge.

Jason,

I can't believe they're keeping you up there so long! It'll be all good once you get back though.

We definitely need to hit that Harris Hill Road. I'd never even heard of that track before. Looks fun.

Owen...first of all with out a lot of really good professional equipment, you did a very good job with your lighting & control of exposures. I would have tried to concentrate a bit more on angles & compositions. Pay attention to backgrounds and whats in them. I feel the pallets in first & last image hinder your image. Also try to crop things a bit tighter....sometimes less is more !

But what do I know...since I only do it for a living ???

Pfft, then you obviously know nothing.

JK.. Chris, how come you don't shoot cars like some of the other members on here (not TX, but the entire forum)? I know your subjects aren't cars; just noting how we don't see photoshoots of your Z.

Chris, it's kinda like the old saying...The mechanics car is always the worst running vehicle....or the maid always has the dirtiest house !

I have been shooting this kind of stuff for years....and once you reach a certain level of compliancy, you begin to wander away from the motivation that first drove you there & now your in cruise mode.

It would be like cooking all day & week at a restaurant for 40+ hours and coming home for the weekend and wanting to cook for your friends ! I doubt you'd feel like it.

Sorta of the same thing only magnify it by 25 + years of doing it for a living.
My thirst & drive for motivation & creativeness has long surpassed my need for a career vs. a life style ! And believe me ....there is a certain difference.
One drives you ...and the other you drive !

Default Thanks Imported Performance!

This was probably my third visit to these guys and they continue to surprise me with their great customer service. Stephen and Chris are always there to help and I'm so glad that I have these guys near my area.

I needed to get an amp installed and connect them to my component speakers. I'm not very good with doing things on my own so I contacted Chris and he immediately agreed to do the job for me at a great price.

I specifically asked Chris to place the amp in the glove compartment behind the passenger seat so that it can't be seen. We eventually found out that my kicker IX500.4 amp is the perfect size for the tray that's placed inside that glove compartment. Only modification needed was some drilling to make holes for the cables to run through. The installation looks really good. All of the wires are tucked away and most importantly, everything sounds great.

Sorry for cell phone picture.

so I just wanted to thank Imported Performance once again and I'll definitely be back for future installs.

Thanks, yeah I was really concentrating on experimenting with remote flashes for this project so I kinda had tunnel vision if you get what I'm saying haha. I get what you mean with the pallets though. I picked the background because it is entirely that light grey color and isn't obtrusive, but the pallets jump out too much. There is also a wooden picnic table in the background in the first picture but you can't really see it haha. Then again I haven't been only been doing photography for a little under 2 years now so I'm still learning the ropes haha.

If you've been around this forum for a while, you know that I rarely buy anything to change the appearance of the car. In my 6 years of ownership, I had the same aftermarket wheels for the last 5 years, same springs for the last 3, and a few different exhaust set ups over the years. Updates/upgrades were long overdue and change was inevitable. I think I may even like the end result enough to forget about how much I spent.

Wow Chris,

That setup looks great man. I would only add one more thing... a front splitter/mild lip. Maybe the Stillen splitter? http://www.stillen.com/image.asp?/pr.../1035011SP.jpg

What are the wheel/tire/drop specs?
