Congrats on the job Patrick, hope it works out well for you.
Jody, not sure if anyone got back with you...
If you were to do shocks/springs on Robert's car here are a couple scenarios:
Eibach Pro Kit springs (about 1" drop all around) with Monroe SensaTrac struts all for about $600-$650 shipped.
Eibach Pro Kit springs with KYB GR2 struts all around $525-$550 shipped.
If he wants adjustability you can get the KYB AGX adjustable struts, but that will make it about $750-$800 shipped with springs.
When you get up that high in price you could go with coilovers for $900-$1,000 from manufacturers like Stance, Fortune Auto, KSport, ISC, and maybe a couple others. Can find cheaper coilovers, but they would be cheaper in quality too and not as good as a decent spring/strut combo.

No prob Jody. I could have listed alot more options, but my computer battery was dying. I listed Eibach Pro Kit cause that's what I've been using for awhile and they're great springs.
There is an Auto X event that day....I will be sleepy from getting up soooo early.

All Loaded up and ready to go Biotches !
This is gonna be a blast ! I'm sure Jake & I will post some more pics & video after we get done this weekend.

I'm so ready!!!! But my car I'd not
Damn, you guys (whoever's going to the track) will have a BLAST! Once you get a taste, you won't want to go back to autox'ing.
BTW, if you guys don't have at LEAST half of your brake pad life left, I suggest you take it EASY on the track just in case. I killed my brand new pads with 2 track days and 4-5 autox events (literally wore it down to the base ).

You get a lot more seat time for your money with road racing, a LOT more. I paid $150 for 140 minutes of track time vs $40 for 5-10 minutes with autox. Plus, you don't have to work the course or stand under the sun with road racing.
Autox is definitely fun and an easy way to learn your car, though. I definitely learned a lot of the technical aspects of controlling my car, so I'm not putting it down. I'm just saying once you get a taste, you'll see how fun road racing is.
