What up fellow Z & G drivers!! I am currently in the Navy stationed in Va. I need a TX inspection sticker. i bought my car in TX where i lived before i joined. i just dont wanna drive it all the way back there for a sticker! can any1 help me out? i would pay via paypal for yalls help! thanks

 

You did say inspection sticker, not registration sticker, correct? Well, I've got some bad news for you. To get an inspection sticker for your car, you do know the car must be inspected, right? If you have the car in Virginia, how do you propose to get a Texas inspection sticker?

Since you're military you're exempt from Tx inspection to maintained a Tx registration. I was stationed in Colorado for 3+ yrs, had both my vehicles registered in Tx and never had a vehicle inspection. Even bought my Z in Colorado and registered it in Tx w/o a vehicle inspection.

You must be refering to the DOD sticker. Just explain to the MP office that due to your military status of being stationed outside Texas you're exempt from Tx inspection. You can not get citied for Tx laws in another state.

I don't think it's wise to be asking for an inspection sticker in an illegal way on thsi public message forum. Especially since you are military.
