if youre brave, and you need to uncompress the springs and you have an impact gun, just put the assembly with the gun at the top in between a tire and a tree, and imapct away. it'll come off without too much drama.

as far as putting the aftermarket spring in, if its short enough, you might not have to compress it...

Hey Broberts,

I've got the spring compressor that Jason posted in the pic. I'm going to let Jason borrow it if you need it done before Christmas. If you don't need it done before then you can come to my place (less than 10 minutes from Jason) the week between Christmas and New Years (I'm off that week) and Jason and I could knock it out.

I've also got a set of RSR drop springs that I don't need anymore. They're a .6" drop so if you want lower then they aren't for you. They are great springs that give the car a very sporty but comfortable ride. I actually think they are slightly stiffer than the Eibachs I have on now, but weren't harsh at all. With the Tanabe springs you WILL need a camber kit, but with these you don't

Anyway PM me or get my number from Jason. I've got to head to work in a couple of minutes so I might not get your PM. You can text me if you get my number from Jason.

Eric

Let me know, a couple of us in the local Z club have done about 5 spring installs so we have it down pretty well. You can rent a spring compressor from Auto Zone or Pep Boys and it doesn't cost you a dime.

Hey Broberts,

Let me know when you get the springs. I'm off from Christmas day until the 2nd so I can do it during the day whenever. That's if you don't have anything worked out with someone else by then.

Wow you're really trying to get them on before Christmas aren't you. I'm working nights and will have to use my mornings to finish Christmas shopping. Otherwise I'd knock it out for you this morning or Tuesday morning. If you don't get it done before Christmas let me know and I can do it Friday, Saturday, or whenever after that.

Haha probably. I'd like to see the stance now.

If they aren't on then I'll put them on. But if you've got them on take some pics.
