I've been in the Houston area for about a month now. I've seen so many 350Z's, much more than I saw while I was still living in NYC.

Am I the only one who feels "a sense of brotherhood" when I see another 350Z? I feel like I should high-beam or give a wave. When I had my M3, whenever I ran into another one, we would give some sort of signal.

Whenever I see another 350Z, I usually just get ignored. Am I crazy or what? I thought people were more friendly down here.

 

I wave to other Z driver's, but I don't think all of them are as enthusiastic as you and me about the whole "brotherhood" concept

I'm usually driving around on the west side of town in my Daytona Blue track model... you'll know it's me if you see me waving.

Where exactly is the west side of town? I see a number of Daytona Blues on Westheimer by the Galleria, wonder if it's you.

 

most 350z owner in Houston are not friendly, very sad.. I usually look at the other driver when passing by, and see they look back so I can wave, but they usually ignore you.

If you want to meet some 350z owners, come by Jamba Juice, (Galleria - Westheimer/Post Oak), around Saturday night, after 9:30pm or so.. There are usually some 350z there...

 

I'm a whole lot more west from there

I live out on Eldridge and work at 1-10 and Dairy Ashford. I am in the Galleria area maybe two times a month.

Check out the local Z club at www.zcar.org They are getting a group together this Saturday to drive up to a Z car show in Austin.

Where is there a good dealer to buy a Z in the houston area? I heard that Robin's Nissan sucks so i wont go there but anyone else have ideas? Also it seems like there arent any dealers with the enthusist model.

Know what you mean about other Z driver's not being overly-friendly. Sad, but true.

Just a friendly warning, but don't flash your headlights at them.
See your owner's manual about that...it will shorten the life of your headlight bulbs.

Keep waving...I know I do (but I live waaaay on the South Side...almost in Galveston).

As for a good dealership, Sterling McCall is a good one...their parts department is the BEST !
Went to Mossy; way up and out on I-10 and had a really good experience there.
