Local Car Show/Meet Advocate Banned From Houston Imports Web Site...
A local Houstonian, Dexter, banned from Houston Imports website. I'm not sure what the details are, but I remember seeing some debates going on last month on H-I between Dexter aka "Tunerlifestyletv" and other local car advocates/promoters. Posted this story, because many of us locals know Dexter personally...

I never liked H.I. but I will go there to check out what kind of car meets are going on that week.
Sucks to read that Dexter was ban - trying to promote PZ event on the 24th.
I remember Planet Zero meet was awesome but it stop for some reason (edited)
Can't we all get along

rediculous, senseless drama. Its a shame to see that HI doesn't care about its members or the scene. Their mods/admins take everything personal and refuse to communicate on a professional level. Their only solution to most situations is ban. Pretty retarded.

Ah ok. Well, the hardships of running a business may have caught up with him finally, I've been to a couple of those Planet Zero meets and they were always cool. Shoot the s**t in the parking lot then go play some drifting games, lol.

I would like to say thanks to everyone for your support on this issue (Thanks Val). I know that our banned article and forum thread would be a bit controversial. H-I claims that we are bad mouthing them but anyone that reads the article I never insulted anyone, called names or directed any negativity towards H-I. Just stating in general what is happening in our industry. If they took it personal then obviously there must be some truth to it. This issue is not only an H-I problem but a problem in general.
The article has reached as far as Canada. This issue needed to be brought out into the open and because TLTV is considered media we are neutral and say it like it is. I knew that there would be consequences for my actions and I accepted that. If I believe in something I am going to stand up for it no matter the outcome.
As a result of TLTV's actions changes are beginning to take place in the status quot on H-I. Change does not come easy. After all of this is over, we hope that the individuals that are negatively infecting this scene are weeded out to make room for a fresh start and greater unity. For example the last PZ event was one of the largest PZ meets (from what I heard since I haven't been in Houston for that long). This outcome is due to positive people working together. It was still a success without the support of H-I.
With that said take a look at this vid to rmember where we came from. Some of what was said has either been forgotten or lost due to politics in the scene. Click on the image to view video.
Thanks everyone.
