Actually, I'm pushing closer to 415 ft-lbs of torque and 410 rwhp. I didn't tell you but when I tuned at JTran in Houston I made 407 rwtq and 396 rwhp at 9.2 psi. Now, I'm just over 10 psi. I hit a 12.5 on my 2nd run. A low 12 is definitely possible. Next time!!!!!!! I guess that makes it worse huh. It was my first actual time with the kit, tire set up, water/meth and good tune. I only ran twice. 1st run was just to feel the car and I hit that 12.8. The 2nd run was more aggressive too see if the tires would hook. Next time its going to be a total different story. Low 12s or break an axle

 

I'm gonna go with the 4.08s then and I used royal purple gear oil. You all don't know anyone who would have and sell me a FD? I need it by march 5th I have a couple oc people wanting to take me out.

really hard to find 4.083 here.........theres not much difference if you buy it at z1auto

 

or go to any nissan dealership im sure they have 4.083 gears in stock
but a little bit expensive

 

Oh and who do you all rocommend do a FD install here in south Texas? I don't feel like driving 7 hours to Dallas to do all my drivertrain work.

Hey guys I just ordered 4.083 FD with install kit 1 from Z1 and I need some info on those gears, will my rev limiter be under or the same at 7500 rpms. Also I was recommended to "Joseph" as an installer hopefully local from McAllen. Oh any one of yu all have 4.08s on your 350Zs let me know how yalls experience with them are.

limiter will not be affected unless you bump it to 8k at uprev!that would be nice!
i dont think any of the guys here has done the gears......lol!.
i did two.......the 3.9fd with my old 06 z and the 4.083 with the nismo
