I wouldn't expect too spectacular of a time or track where you ran your 12.8, sfarrah (I'm guessing HRP?). Dallas-local tracks are nowhere near as well-prepped and higher in elevation. However, this is all for fun and is bracket racing, so the rules are different from a heads up race (which we can also do, but N/A people will not want to join in on that).

I'll take pennies as long as you add 10%.

No more interest in this?

---------------------------------------------------------------

Some good deals on CL for the drag tires.

Pretty good price for slicks - good size for non-N/A folks with stock gearing.

Very good price and good size for N/A.
http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/pts/1241733194.html

Even better price (same person, I think) and good size for N/A.
http://dallas.craigslist.org/mdf/pts/1232734568.html

Not a bad deal.

Given that the bolt pattern and the offset will fit on the Z/Gs, this is a damn good deal.

I like how there's more interest from the non-locals. You'd think that the DFW people should be tired of looking at each others' stock and "modified" () Zs by now.

Where you plan to do this at? Dallas? How about central texas where everyone from all over can go. Austin or san antonio? Dallas will be a 10hr drive one way, but.....

It will be held at Dallas Raceway in Crandall. My next choice would be Texas Motorplex in Ennis, then Houston Raceway Park in Baytown.

I've seen this done at Dallas Raceway and the track actually works with you. I'm a "regular" at Texas Motorplex so I don't think they'll say no. I've never been to Houston Raceway Park, but I do know that's a faster track than the two aforementioned.

Texas Motorplex is NOT one of the faster ones anywhere. There's 2 other tracks in TX alone that's faster - HRP and DR.

I still say Dallas Raceway - newer, better, faster, neater drag strip.
