Default Rain plus no TC = Not fun :(

So it finally rained in Houston after forever today and so I figured I'd have some fun in the rain with no traction control on....

Yeah not as fun as I thought Well it's fun but hydroplaning is not fun

wet public roads = Not fun

wet empty parking lot = a good learning platform

or as the this site would want you to do...shell out a couple hundred for driving classes...

Haha it would've been cooler to brag about me messing up somehow or me underestimating the power of the car but instead I hydroplaned after I had my fun and was driving back home

Other then a bruised ego and blown front tire I'm lucky nothing too too serious happened...I don't know how much TC would've helped with the hydroplaning but I forgot to switch it back on which was irresponsible on my end.

Thanks man. As promised pictures from the incident...upon further review it looks worse then I thought Or atleast I think it does

I was probably driving I wanna around 45-50mph and I swear there was what seemed to be a little puddle on the side of the road and I figured I'd drive right over it but I hydroplaned and jumped the curb to a point where the whole car was almost on top of the grass

It's 5:30 AM at the moment and I just can't sleep til I get my baby fixed

I love driving with no TC in the rain. Of course I'm two tons and can hang the tail out without much drama.

You say this likes its a bad thing? Every platform owner is quick to drop $300 for a CAI, $1k+ for that exhaust or, $2k-$3k for wheels & tires, but can't come up with $150-$300 for a weekend of High Performance Driving & Education on a closed course.
