I'll skip all the unnecessary BS and get to the point.
If you don't like your exhaust, then get a new one. Borla True Dual and Fujitsubo Legalis-R/Super Ti are relatively quiet until you WOT.

However below 3k rpm, with ANY amount of load on the engine, it's fairly loud and even drones in the cabin. I've had car alarms "warn" me as I slowly climbed through parking garages.
That being said, I love it and wish there was something easily removable that enabled me to quiet it down for daily driving.

sorry i havent got back, but no i dont have a sound clip, but i had to put a H pipe as with the HFC i had a rasp like i had test pipes, once i put the hpipe in it went away, but it also made the exhaust even more quite, i think it sound like a deep stock tone w/ my hfc and hpipe, once you get on it though it sounds mean (not really loud, just mean)

You runing SC. Once you change exhaust, you needs to get it tune. Are you runing HFC? or stock cat?
If i have to choose exhaust again, i will go with NISMO for sure. close to stock and sounds sweet. Can not beat that. I'm running headers/TP/APS 2.5 TD + Xpipe, if you wants to hear inside the cabin, let me know.
Edit: if you running TD, think about add X-pipe. 30~40 bucks, i know good welding shop.
Btw, here is my N/A setup. I think video sounds is pretty close to real.

Check out this thread. He's talking about the Borla on an NA sedan, but the concept of what you want is the same. He ended up swapping out the resonator with a Magnaflow resonated X-pipe. It quieted it down, just a tad, yet gave him back a little of the low end torque he lost with the true dual.

That's interesting. I went to that shop long long time ago. They're ok, but nothing spectacular and they do overcharge a bit.
Personally, I'd recommend Pronto Muffler in Plano off of 75 if you're looking for a good place to do some custom piping. They're not the cheapest around, but they'll do their job right and they're good people it seems.

Basically, I just need about a 6 inch piece of pipe removed and reworked. Right now it's resting on my GTspec bar. And I might see if I can get the resonator to not be resting against the drivetrain tunnel. Also, might need to get a new hanger welded for the passenger side midpipe. I have this weird drone/vibration around 2750 RPM, and I'm wondering if one of these things is the culprit. It kinda comes and goes though.
