Default New Z owner in Houston

Whats up guys.

After a couple of months searching the classifieds and reading up on Zs from this site, I closed the deal on an 05 last week.

Unfortunately it was broken into after the first week . It was parked outside in my apartment parking lot, a GTI and Acura also got hit that same night. Be on the lookout for someone trying to sell stock 350z center dashboard gauges, a metallic blue shift ****, and a portable gps.

Anyway, i'll have it fixed and post pics later

I Haven't really considered moving out, I'm trying to get a detached garage because they may come back.

They also stole the key to my wheel locks

gotta have a garage if you want to keep a nice car nice. also, take your wheel locks with you. leave nothing for them to want to steal. even my amps, screen, headunit, etc...are all hidden from thieves.

congrats on the new car. invest in a 2 way alarm as well! protect your investment!

that sux bro...the huge rear windshield of the Z makes it very easy to anyone to inspect all the content of your entire car...that's the reason why I always got my 3 rear-most windows limo tinted, and my front 2 door windows legally tinted....

Welcome aboard! That does suck about your break-in. Unfortunately it tends to happen far too often here in Houston. Really all you can do is make sure you don't have anything in high demand in plain sight inside your car. High dollar audio equipment, GPS, aftermarket performance parts and stuff like that. When someone sees a nice Z, it can become a target. Best of luck to you bro.
