nope...... supposedly theres a 7 day delay in kuwait....... shortage of birds to come to the states......

 

I quit!!!!!!!!!!! Um still stuck in this hell hole... I dont think i'll make it home for the holidays now.......

Sorry for your delay Mike. It has to be very frustrating knowing your scheduled for R&R at home...and then finding out there is a shortage of Birds.

 

**** man, sounds like you're having a time like my return...pilot did a HARD landing in Maine and bent a rim and in the four or five hours it took to replace to runway froze over and we had to stay for two days....yea....hell of a trip

 

I remember the frustration well. Back in 1967, I could hardly wait to get home for the holidays. Here is a pic taken in Cam Rahn Bay the first week of December, 1967.

yeah i was stuck in kuwait a week, it sucked. hope you make it home for the holidays. i get to hood feb 19thish. and hoping the car is there or close by then. might have to send it to cali through the navy first and drive from there
