Sweetness. I don't want to see any more pics of destroyed calipers... well, not on your car anyways.

Ill prob opt for the true coil setup, but now im also considering tossing the idea of a basic coil setup and going with one that can adjust dampening, set it once, and leave be.

So many ?'s and choices. Ive already got like 10 quotes on both the S-OC's and the Variant 1's, but i may end up going with another...not sure yet.

OR, i might scrap the coil idea for now and bite the bullet on the tires before i bend a Volk when one these puppies busts on the road
you should consider how low you want to go when deciding on coils, some like those tanabe don't go very low. for price, quality, and adjustabilty i would consider funcion form, also considering yours is a daily and show car. it differs car to car but i have mine now lowered a bit past 1.5" in front and camber is at -2 degrees which is what i want so no need for arms, but i do have the rear kit to dial in the same camber. 285 goodyear=rubbing rolled fenders, 275BFG= no rubbing, spacers=holychit turn tha radio way up

also why the need for a true coil setup? it could save you some weight and you could get the spl bucket delete arms, but they cost about $250. then you have to consider the lower strut bushing crapping out due to stress and whiteline has replacements for about $50-60. oem style might be better if you dont intend to track or autox it...

Question for you houston, Got some new wheels coming in soon and Im looking for a BBK as my next mod. 18'' meisters s1 (three piece) 9.5 front and 10.5 in the rears. thing is I dont recall the offset I got them in. Rick@vipstatus is trying to confirm the specs wether we got a +24 offset or a +12 offset all around. pretty sure its the +12
I need to know what size of a bb kit I would need to clear these wheels in these specs considering both offsets.
I would be grateful if any can point me in the right direction. thanks

you also need to consider the disk that work wheels come in, which has to do with the concaveness of the face and its ability to clear a caliper. i would think any 13" BBK would be cleared by the rim diameter, but depending on disk and offset you may need a spacer for the face to not rub the caliper.

It seems like I see someone getting popped by a red light cam at least once a day.

Has anybody else noticed the T-Mobile "Angry Chicken" advertisement banner at the top of these pages? I laughed out loud ... it is pretty funny

So... someone hit my truck today. I was in the right lane on the 59 feeder taking an engine to the machine shop and a Pontiac decided to pull out just a bit too far as I was passing by. We barely touched, i got a little paint traded on the rear passenger side of the bed, but my bumper tore a good portion of his right off!

As much as I hate that truck, the bastard has been pretty good to me.

Sadly, I sold the rx-7 probably over 6 months ago. I'm in the market for a decent 240sx coupe.
