First my mirrors. Now my Hood pins. You know it will be cheaper if you just buy my car than trying to get me to part it out to you. LOL
Anyhow, I'm gonna hang on to them. When I replace my Hood I'll need/want them. Sorry.
Now give me the ******* chicken! LOL

^ Dude this was so MUCH HARDER than it looks.
For the first hours everything was going as planned. The cuts and drilled holes we made for the pins in the c/f were PERFECT...i mean flawless with no cracks, webs, nothing. Everything was going as planned...and then....
The pins didnt line up with the holes in the aerocatch part, they were off by mm's. Soooooo then we had to move the 2 pins back on the radiator support some more, but we were almost out of room to move them back, so we had to drill out the holes more.
Bottom line, and 10 hours and MUCH grinding later, we got them to line up and and the hood closed/opened fine with the pins.
Problem with these Aerocatch pins is you have absolutely NO room for error. Everything must line up PERFECTLY. the hole in the plastic part of the Aerocatch is JUST big enough for the pin to slide in.
Also, the hood is at an angle while the pin is perfectly vertical, so the "catch" area and the pin are not perfectly perpendicular, and consequently, the pin doesnt go perfectly straight into the "catch" area. (see picture below)
