I would hope that you could gain at least 10-15 hp from the Uprev tune.

I would like to see the results.

Anybody know what kinda numbers the new stock 370's are putting down before any mods ?

I was told around a high of 20 whp with my mods/tune. We'll see. Brought the camera with me told. Battery charging. Woke up an hour early to wash the ride this morning too...

Will do. He's doing before and after dynos. My teammate Byron is stopping by tonight also. Should be fun to have a couple homies there for the tune.

I'm not a big buff on tunes, but is there anything I need to know/prep ahead of time? Is there something I should have done, maintenance wise, to the car before hand?

Neither am I . I actually drove my car to Uprev since there aren't any Uprev tuners in Dallas. I have an HKS intake, HFCs, HKS Exhaust, and a 5/16" Plenum Spacer on the car.

You really don't need a whole lot done to the car before hand. I literally picked a weekend, drove to Austin, and they got it on the dyno like 10 minutes after getting there. All you really need is the Cipher cable.

You do get to choose five maps with the tune. I got the 93 octane performance tune, a low octane tune if I ever can't find 93, a valet map which won't rev above 3000RPM and go over 40mph, an anti-theft map which won't rev past 750RPM and go over 1MPH and the stock map. That is what the guys at Uprev told me most people get.

I'd say the best part about the tune really isn't the numbers it's more about how the car feels. It really makes the car feel more responsive. I didn't gain a whole lot, but the car was noticeably faster. Ask Gibbs we had some friendly competition coming back from the Imported Performance monthly meet before and after the tune. Before the tune he had me by a few cars. No other mods besides the tune were done and I kept up with him until I grinded fifth (damn synchro) lol

Here is my dyno chart for reference :

You'll like uprev's software Val. All they did was tweek my idle, remove the speed limiter, and raise the revs to 8k (vpro limits it to 7500)....night and day difference in the way the car idles, starts, drives, and even AFs were much better.

5 maps. Raise idle to 850rpm. Raised rev limiter to 7500rpm. Car pulls hard and smooth from bottom end to top new. I can't keep the wheels in contact with the pavement through 1st, 2nd, and some of 3rd through the entire gear...

7500 on a DE (non rev-up)? That's a little hairy. Stellar gains though.
