The law has changed its not 20% anymore it's 25% for safety inspection. Also, I think the local law is 35%.

^^^WTF ? ^^^

That makes no sense ! So they changed the law from 20% to 25% .....meaning that everybody that had the 20% on front windows will now have to have it removed and replaced with 25% ? Yeah....right ! And it's different for Local Law ??? 35% ...even lighter ! Haha

All I can say is

Say what you want I just went to renew my certification. The law was changed in August but most inspectors most likely don't know about it. Also, yes the local law is 35%. Why do you think none of the dealership will not tint below 35%? It's to abide by the local law, technically a police officer can write you a ticket for being below 35%. No one here knows a friend or got a ticket for tint?

Dang, I am in the same boat. Just bought a 350Z and thinking about buying stock cats to put in. Not sure if this will fix it?

I have tint as well but not sure the %.

I was wondering will the non fouler work? Although I have the GTM test pipes with motordyne original exhaust is super loud.

Also, do I have a set number of days from the purchase date to get the car inspected to get it registered? I heard 30-31 days to get it registered. Does this mean that I have that many days to get it inspected as well?
