Jared has tuned my car (many times) in the past, but I won't be able to make it to Austin for my next tune. In your opinion, who is/what shop is the best UpRev licensed tuner in Houston?

Just for reference we are talking about a Vortech G35.

I have been very happy with Secret Services Auto. I have a Vortech 350Z. They have also tuned some of my friend's NA Zs and they are happy as well. Not cheap, but quality work and the Mustang Eddy Current dyno is a good one.

Like you I used to go to Austin and have Jared tune it when I first installed the Vortech.

 

Who else? No more opinions?

 

P&K & I hang out in the same group. I know the same people he does & they all have said positive things about SSA & their tuner. When I get the funds, that's where I'll be heading.

I also vouch for Secret Services. I heard about them through Pedro (P&K) at one of our meets, and another member of our group also had his HR Z tuned there. I was very pleased, although it is a bit pricey.

 

just checked on how many tunes we have done from the uprev tuning software. it caps at 43 today. tomorrow will be the 44th car we have tuned with the uprev software. from the 350z and g35's to the 370z and g37s. never have we had a complaint on our tune. that does not include the tunes we have done off of utec, hks vpro, or haltech on these vehicles. number 1 vq shop in houston let alone texas is us.

 

Went this past Saturday morning to get my car tuned at Jtran, had a wonderful experience. Johnny the owner and tuner is a very friendly knowledgeable guy i would recommend him to anyone wanting UPrev tuning for there VQ.

Winded up making 252hp 220tq on a mustang dyno which usually tend to read lower but the most notable differences now are the amazing drive-ability like throttle response and how quickly and aggressive the car revs plus im back to nearly stock fuel mileage.
