Default Clearbra dealers/installers

Does anybody around here have the clearbra? When I buy my car in the next few weeks, I would like to get one installed to protect my paint. Does anybody have any opinions of places to go or not to go to get it done. I am in the Lewisville area, but willing to travel for a good job. Thanks in advance for your help and opinion.

Thanks,
-Deep

Gooters, I too would like to know what the problem is. I think I might have suggested this place since I had my clear bra installed with them too. I got the entire front end done as well as front 1/3 of hood, front/top of roof, A-pillars, and upper and lower side mirror. Had a problem with a small piece in the front not being tapered down to the car, but they fixed that a.s.a.p. Got all mine put on for $450.00 + tax. Check around, that's quite a price difference. + they don't use razor blades on the car.

I sell these things through Modern Armor.

Greg, the owner, does a helluva job as well.

The retail price for a 350Z is $799.95... through me I can knock off $100 for all the guys here.

The stuff is really cool too, it has a built in clearcoat on the exterior side of the material... what that means to you is that the paint underneath the material will fade at the same rate that the non-protected part of your car does.

take a look at his site (www.modernarmor.com) and if you're interested and want to save $100 off of it, give me a call on 214-663-4014.

I really appreciate the responses.

Gooter can you please tell your experience about sunmasters.

I am really interested in ModernArmor. I might have to get with you Bankheist when I get it.

Thanks.

I hope that I am not being too picky.

I only got the bumper done. The install is really pretty good except around the side marker lights. It has about 4 or 5 "wrinkles" around the side of each light as if there was too much material for it to sit flush or something.

A couple of the wrinkles are big enough to have caught a little dirt and grime within.

In Sunmaster's defense, I have been extremely busy planning my wedding the last few months...I have yet to contact them about the problem.

I need to do that soon, I will let you know their response.

Am I being too picky?????

It's your vehicle and you can never be to picky when it comes to your ride. I like to see people that say it "wasn't to my satisifaction" from time to time. You, after all, are paying good money to them for a service and if the service is skewed, crappy or just plain FUBAR then you have a right to *****. And they need to make you happy.... Many companies have forgot the slogan that "the customer is always right". I am one customer that you don't want to **** off.

Default Laser pre-cut and pre-molded Clear Bra

You guys might consider to install the Clifford Matrix RS3.5 Alarm system with 1/4 mile 2-way communication remote. This system can be installed with or without auto start. The secutiry part includes dual stage shock sensors, electronic starter kill, and door protection. You can also add perimeter sensor for the convertible owners. You will be notified from your remote control (with LCD screen) once the alarm has been triggered. It can also be connected to Clifford GPS Tracking system that allows you to track/locate the vehicle, arm/lock, disarm/unlock, and remote start via cell phone or online anywhere nationwide. Example: You can be in New York and you can warm up the car in Houston if you want to, and you will be called/e-mailed in New York if somebody tamper with your car in Houston. You can also activate the Speed Limit Notification which you will be notified if someone is driving the car over 75 mph. You will also have 60 days vehicle log when you login to your account. The log will display all activities including the alarm activation and overspeed at certain mph at certain date and time. You can contact Andy from Executive Motoring at 713-467-7000 if you are interested. They also do high end windows tinting, clear bra (Laser pre-cut/pre-molded, non-fading/non-scratch material), factory module XM/Sirius radio, custom audio, navigation, and multimedia systems.

Yeah, what was that...

It's too late for me to get a clear bra but I had that sunmasters do my tint (5% all around) and they did a great job on the install except they left a razor blade in my trunk.

Yes, I am a vendor, and I have served a lot of G35s and Nissan 350Zs. Most owners of these cars want the clear bra more than any other vehicle (except Porsche, Ferrari, and Corvette) because these cars are very aerodynamics and the flat surface on the bumper is very big, so the possibility of getting rock chips are very high. It's never too late to put on the clear bra because once it has been put on, your paint will never get more rock chips than what it is now.

it looks like your product is very similar to the one I do outside sales for.

Mine is laser cut, detailed install, finest 3M film with built-in clearcoat, etc etc.

The key to all of this working correctly is in the installation. The product is practically worthless without a professional installation.
