via PowerFab; "Car is at 14psi but I am having trouble keeping the boost stable. If i cant get it to behave today im going to have to adjust the wastegate tension to make it hold more boost."
Everytime I get one step forward with my car it takes two steps back. Should've bought the CTS-V. fml...
No "real" dyno numbers as they are just trying to tune. But I did ask and Jeremy thought he saw mid 500's at one point.

OK... Just finished talking to Bryan... Tightening the wastegates helped hold boost. Car is making 530whp @ 14psi with little timing on 93 pump. Pump tune should be finished today and around 18-19psi. Power is very smooth. Dyno graph and video coming soon once pump gas tune finished. After that... Shell URT Unleaded Race Gas tuning....

with smoothing set at 5 and the power line looking like that uptop i suspect that its pre igniting the mixture. i would turn the boost down. iat's gotta be high as **** ecspecially on that kit. todds g35 with the jwt 700 upgrade from his original setup with the jwt intercoolers would get up to 130 to 135 F at 16 psi. we changed the ic design and it dropped to 105 to 110 at 16 psi. im sure its running alot higher then that on 18 psi. looking also at the graph seems like his peak cam timing occurs around 4500 to 4800, tell him to pull it back down and have the peak at 4000. full boost occurs there, rule of thumb on cam timing, run the cam timing up til full boost, then gradually come back down to zero.

very good, if you wanna run it that high of boost without preigniting the mixture you need to close the gap on the plug first and run a colder plug also. look for shiny speckling on the actual spark plug itself. im throwing my two cents in cause i want to make sure his car is tuned the way its supposed to. you can also compensate the preignition with a little meth. regardless, good build. good to hear the fuel pressure problem has been fixed also. good ****!

I just want my car finished.
