Is anyone here a 100 Club member? If so, did you guys put the 100 club sticker/decal on your Z? Has that thing ever helped?

Yes sir. I have it on my '08. Rarely will an officer ever flat out tell you that the decal saved your azz. It's more of a subsonscious/guilt-trip thing with them. Idk what it is about CSPD officers, but they have a real hard on for pulling me over for not having a front plate on and "not stopping long enough at stop signs." In those instances, I think it helps.

You know what I see it all the time on corvettes, porsches and other exotics here in Houston, but Im not sure whether they get tickets. I'm going to guess that they get some sort of warnings instead of speed tickets.

100 Club is a club that supports police officers and other emergency personnel in times of need. For instance, if a police officer/EMT/firefighter is hurt or killed and the family needs help with anything. I thought it was only here in Arizona.

I used to have a 100 Club sticker, and since I worked for the largest emergency vehicle upfitter in the SW USA at the time, I always kept a shop hat on my rear deck and a t-shirt in the back seat. Honestly the 1st time it happened, I just happened to have the hat and shirt in the car. Yes, I got out of tickets because of it. If you really wanted to "milk it", you could even get the Fallen Officer license plate if your state offers it.

I got out of one ticket that would have cost me my license. I was 100% honest with the officer about why I was driving like an idiot, and he let me go with just a "You need to be more careful and slow down. Have a nice night." I was doing about 100 on an almost empty highway at like 8pm on a week night. I explained that I was speeding to try to get to a check cashing place so I could cash my paycheck (from said shop). I told him the reason I couldn't make it to the bank was because I'd been working 13 hrs a day for the past 6 days to make sure DPS (highway patrol/his department) got their new order of cars on time, and I hadn't eaten anything since lunch the day before. I think the fact that I smelled like a 10 yr old gym sock, and was obviously an employee at that shop really helped me. Also, I'm sure he knew or had heard that they were getting new cars, so he knew I wasn't lying about that.

I use to have it on my eclipse...Mom's purchased a new car and they gave it to her for "free". She put one on her's and I put one on mine under my inspection sticker...

Was sick one day so i drove down the street to get some tissues. DPS pulled me over for not having license plates lights. I havent had license plate lights on my car since I bought it. Drove 5 years without it.

I think the main reason he pulled me over cuz of my car, All black everything with 10% tint and Depo lights w/ HIDs & BMW halo's...on a mitsubishi lol
When he looking at my front plate in the window, he rubbed my 100 member sticker with his finger i guess to wipe the dirt off to see what year it was;went back to the car printed out a warning then let me go....

I've also ran a stop sign rushing to work n the morning...Harris county cop again looked to see if I had a valid inspection sticker, looked at my 100 sticker and said dont do it again and let me go...

I think that sticker saved my ***

it surely cant hurt to donate 150 to a good cause and possibly get out of a ticket.. i reccomend donating anyways.

Its 150 bucks..

ppl need it for their families. I will certainly have this on my plate after my cars back up and running.
