Default Someone backed into me...

Car was parked in a lot and someone backed into me. Good thing they notified me and got insurance claim. Need to find someone who can fix it. I got an estimate done from the dealer. I need to explore my options and see if anyone knows a good shop in Houston who can also take care of my interior damage (paint peel on door handles & center console) since it's already getting in a shop. Any suggestions?

Here's the interior scratches...

Door handle (both sides)
Center Console (needs to be re-painted all the way)
AC Vent on both doors

You can ask the shop to paint your interior parts, but I usually just replace them. Factory interior pieces are usually pretty cheap.

But the OEM parts are gonna do the same thing again. I was thinking about getting matte black paint done on them. I've seen many custom designs out there.

You must be rough on your interior. LOL

I don't have any scratches like that.

Whichever method you choose good luck.

Umm, I bought it pre-owned so I'm sure it was the previous owner. I've only had this car for about 2 months and I hate looking at all these scratches.

I see. Well hopefully you get it figured out the cheapest way possible.

Get a shop to sand and wrap them with vinyl. Would probably hold up better than paint and look nicer

Yea, had to do my daily head stand!

Just put the car in the shop! And as goes for those scratches inside, I'm gonna try to wrap them with this carbon fiber vinyl I bought and see how they turn out.

i am curious to how they turn out... i scraped all the rubber crap off mine, primed and painted... but the paint eventually wore off.. then i plasti-dipped but the rubber got to thick around the switches and they would get stuck

That's pretty sweet. I've been wanting to try some hydrographics myself, but maybe I'll check out those guys. It won't really help the OP because he's in Houston.

It was given as an example (the only company's work I've seen) - as I said I don't work for them however pretty sure he could find a place like it in Houston or he could contact them and ask if they know someone local.

Well the CF vinyl I bought, I really wanna try to give it a shot. The hydrographics stuff does look pretty neat tho but I'm sure it's going to be on the pricey side.

I recall getting a quote of around $250-$300 for the removable parts that were mentioned.

For the interior, I put the carbon fiber sides on the door handles and besides looking nice, NO MORE SCRATCHES!
