We'll be heading down to the drag strip this Friday February 13, 2004. San Antonio Raceway is hosting their Import Racing Series which is included with your tech card purchase if you are interested in competing. If you don't want to compete, you can just run your car on the strip during test & tune.

Cost is $10 for spectators and $15 for your tech card if you want to run your car. Gates open at 6pm and test & tune starts at 6:30pm. Import race starts at 9pm.

If you're interested in coming out, we'll meet @ Logan's Roadhouse in San Marcos between 5:30-6:00pm for a bite to eat then head out around 6:45.

Taking the 300 or the roadster? Wait, you did get a roadster, right?

Anyhow, I might go, not sure what I have going on though. I need to check the weather. It might be a good chance for me to improve my ET again. 13.8x, I know I can get 13.7x if it's going to be dry.

 

I'll be taking the roadster. I want to see what it will do.

Hopefully the track will be dry by then.

Yeah Anthony, I remember you man. Yeah, I went with a buddy from out of town when it first got cold and put down a 13.87 if I recall correctly. Still bone stock, have that new tranny, the 4th part number tranny that finally fixes tranny problems. It's been great, and that run was on it (but I don't attribute that to mean anything, the weather was just infinitely better than that crap we dragged in).

I am still not sure if I can commit to this yet, I sure want to go though. I'd love to get some good pics and video. I would geek out and use the tripod this time.

Okay, I've seen enough cold and rain this year. Looks like the strip is out of the question today, damnit. I'm out. I will be going at next good day though.

 

Due to the weather, this event is postponed.

Weather forcast looks good for next Wednesday the 18th. We'll make a decision early next week and keep y'all updated.
