ATI recommends a set of colder plugs which I have. Others have recommended also putting a J&S retard box as an additional protection.

The kit is in perfect condition with no problems. I ran it on my car for 3500 miles. I purchased the extended 3 year warranty from ATI which I think may transfer.

I don't know for sure, there was way to many debates about all the different prochargers out there, but I know one of them was actually starting to hurt the car the longer that it was on. Was that this brand? Is that even true about some of them or did I just get a couple different threads mixed up?

No one brand is going to hurt an engine more than another. It's all about the tuning. That includes timing and A/F ratio.

I agree ..... you have to be sure you don't go lean which leads to detenation and high heat ..... this causes some bad problems.

From everything I have read the best way to prevent this is to use that
J&S Safeguard timing control box!

I not sure how much it cost or where to get it but for peace of mind it is the way to go.

I had Grubbs Infiniti do it and they have been great. Mine was the first they did and they had a few problems with the install at first but got everything straighted out and made me a happy camper. They charged me $675 to do the install and then never charged me for any follow up untill I had them remove it. They put the car completely back to stock for a really fair price. I did have them do the 500 mile, and 3000 mile oil change, it doesn't need another oil change now for 6000 miles. Cost of oil change is like $20
