Any one recommend a tint shop in the arlington/fort worth area? Anyone happen to know a price estimate on the darkest legal tent possible or "after business hours" tent?

 

I'd like to know too, it's time to put some tint on the Z before the hot Texas summer months hit.

 

Not FW but I went to Sunmasters in Dallas on Midway. I got 5% all around, lifetime warranty. Ask for the owner, Mike.

On my Z it was gonna be $170? I think for 15% all the way around, then I changed my mind. They told me $200 cash when I decided on 5%...I guess it's "more" illegal? Hmm.

And on the G - $200 cash.

 

Hm don't guess you have a pic of your tent by chance? Though if they asked for cash only I'm willing to bet your windows are pretty darn dark.

 

I have one at home, I actually took it as the "before" pic of my suspension, I'll try to put it up later. 5% is the same as limo tint, all the way around.

 

All the way around for 200 seems pretty good. Will they(though it's illegal) tint the windshield?

 

Not sure why you'd wanna do that but I bet they could work something out...

My friend Loi tints for a living at Rusty Wallace Honda. He did my car w/ 18% all around for $100. I'm sure he can do limo tint or double layer it. let me know if interested, i'll give you his #

what about removing tint and putting legal tint on? We have 20 all they way around on the brick, and It is too dark imho.

On my white one I have twenty on the sides and dark dark on the back and I dont like the "color" of the tint. It seems the darker the tint the more of a "purplish" color there is. On the outside it looks great but inside it sucks. Also I drive at night alot and it is just a b^tch to see out of.

 

He should be able to remove tint w/o any problem. Of course he'll charge more. PM'ing you his #
