Default Htown folks...watch out

Just to let you guys know, there has been a rash of 350z wheel thefts in the WestU/Rice/Med Center area. Apparently some group of idiots is going around stripping cars of all 4 wheels and leaving them on blocks. This has occurred even in nice neighborhoods! Happened to someone I know and the police told him they've had several similar reports in the past 2-3 weeks. So please, please, please invest in some wheel locks or keep your rides garaged. Nothing more painful to me than a Z sitting on cement blocks...you know they're not good for that beautiful aluminum suspension. :-)

On Saturday/Sunday morning (May 9th) there was a BMW that had her performance tires and wheels stolen. They left her 1 month old beamer on two wooden blocks. That same night someone broke into my Z. They smashed the window for the radar detector, didn't even open the doors or look for anything else. I live in a gated community with a "gaurd" and park in a 4 story garage. When this happenned the police said that it's been going around. So it's been more than 2-3 weeks, just so ya know. Still no word either from the police about my theft.
