Default Springs for bombed out streets?

Alright so every time i look at this wheel gap on my 19's i lose a little part of my soul...A drop is mandatory but i live in houston and the streets here are Bagdad bad.

Ive done the research and i know Tanabe's are favored here so i was leaning towards the 'Normal' nf210's or possibly the Tein 'S-tech' springs because of the minimal drop. I like what i see in the nf210's but the drop is still 1.2 -1.0...and i fear that would kill my Z's belly around these streets.

I know i could have addressed this is local Houston thread but i think i can get more responses by keeping it broad. Of course htown Z's comments would be appreciated as far as recommended springs but anyone dealing with s**t streets and a drop...what are u running and how's the ride?

EDIT: SRY STECH not HTECH. Im not so scared as to only want a .3 drop or whatever H has.
Thanks

id advise against the tanabes if your roads are that messed up bro,try the s-techs. im running the eibach pro kit and the ride is pretty good as well,my roads arent that messy tho

Ya...my local shop recommended the nf210's, as thats what most of the guys there are running on their rides...but Integras and what not, not the already low Z. Still, if they are doing it and driving here its doable....

But your right, the S-techs offer that minimal drop that should make it settle somewhere around 1" or so all around... i just dont think Tein makes as good of a spring as Tanabe...this is my only concern. Im still doing some reasearch, but if i can assure myself the Teins are as good, ill go with them.

Thanks for the input!

Cobb's springs only go down .7 or so, those are what im looking into for similair reasons. Also they have nice linear springs.

I have S-Techs on mine and drive like stock. No camber issue except the front is little out of spec which is -1.6L and -1.4R. I'm not sure I need camber kit for it.

Alright, another htown z...so no problems scraping everywhere with those s-techs, eh? Adequate, noticable drop and rides well?

Na, i dont think you need the camber kit. Bolts (SPC) are only like 30 bucks tho, easy to install and will fix +- 1-2 or so over factory bolts i think....so u could keep that as an option.

EDIT: You wouldnt happen to have an 03-05 with a 06+ front bumper, chrome silver Z on Tenzo-r type-M's?

I am driving on gf210s all around houston and have no issues with scraping. The streets are not bad at all. I also have ichiba camber arms and spc toe bolts for the rear.

Ya im thinking NF's instead of Gf's...ivebeen told the ride is better on NF's.

Thanks for the info bro, i think its gonna be the tanabes. Ill get bolts as well but i dont think the drop will be so extreme that i will need the arms too. The bolts will be just for precaution incase camber ends up alittle off.

On a side note, where are some good import shops besides like ASAA. I used to go to Endless back in the day but im not sure if they are still around.

I took my cobbs back...half the front spring hangs over the spring perch...unlike most OTHER springs that taper down at the bottom....the Cobbs DON'T....it was bad enough to demand a full refund....

Sorry to dissapoint...just don't want you to waste your money....Try RS-R...at least the are linear like the cobbs.....

GF is HORRIBLE...i threw mine in the trash after a week....i have no clue on the NF's except that the spring rates are softer than the GF's and are still progressive like the GF.....it's your call.....i would stay away from it.....if you really MUST go that low....get the D-spec kit with the Tokico springs...at least those are linear!

I have hotchkis and think it gives a nice subtle drop and the ride isnt to bad. I live in Mass where I am 100% sure the roads are much worse.

No scraping issue. The drop is nice and ride just like stock but a little bit stiffer.

I just got the alignment done yesterday with new tires. The front camber changed a little bit, and I don't know why. It's now -1.2L and -1.9R. The guy told me that I need to get a front camber kit to fix the right side. He also told me that the bolts cannot be replaced. Not sure this is true.

I drive an '07 PPW.
