Anyone know of a shop that does a good clear bra installation? I am over in the mesquite area.

I am looking for the same thing. I had a little fender bender and need someone to cut a new side piece.

If no one replies, give me a week and my body shop should be able to give me the name of a vender\installer.

Winslow's on Garland Avenue north of Casa Linda. Lots of new car dealers use them.

Get in contact with ZISBAK. He knows the shop owner and he'll hook you up. It is where I had mine done. And I drove from Houston to get it done there!

ZISBAK had mine done as well. In Dallas off of Harry Hines near 35 & 635. They did a custom Nismo claer bra. Looks great.

I went with Winslow's since they are close. I can't change my mind now as they charged me a non-refundable deposit, so that I wouldn't change my mind and leave them stuck with a kit they ordered :\

I almost reconsidered when given the total cost ($450 for the bumper/hood/mirror kits, $350 install) but decided I would regret it forever the first time I saw a big black spot in my nice white paint.

So $450 total w/ install or $800? If its $800, you can go ahead and regret that decision too

$800 installed. kit was $450.

Is this a ripoff? I already paid the $450 for the kit, but I can take it elsewhere.

Don't worry. $800 is a good price for a good install.

I would not suggest using Winslow's if you have a PPW. A lot of small dust and a couple smudges showed up underneath the bra, although it would probably be invisible on any other color. I was pretty pissed by the end result, but they were helpful and offered to redo it or give me a full refund. I took the refund, their installer didn't sound confident that it would be perfect the 2nd time around.

Now I need to strip this one off and start over again, what a headache this has turned into

Yeah I was goingto get it done, and my guy said he wouldnt suggest doing it on a white car. If you look at the bra it isnt exactly crystal clear.

Yeah, get in contact with me if anyone still interested to get the clear bra done, I will try to get the best price for y'all.
One thing I would definitely recommend is not do it on a white car, because after time, it does show a little faded or darker tone to the paint. My friend has a white Armada, and we had clear bra the front end of it. The shade does look a little darker after a while, due to dust, unless you polish it and wax it all the time.
You could email me at vballdallas1@comcast.net.

What kind of material is on the front part of the rear fenders that blocks rocks and debris? That seems to look ok on PPW. It doesnt look yellow or anything. I know my PPW already looks like it got in a fight with a gravel truck and I got about 11,000 miles on it.

I believe they used about the same material as the clear bra, except they are in 14 gauge I think? It is almost the same thickness that people ususally use for the clear bra that goes on the headlight cover.
as far on the PPW goes, it doesn't really bother me that much. But for those people that is really picky, then you would really notice the different shade once the clear bra goes on after a while. Especially if the car is your daily driver!
