Okay, I spent, the time and effort to get those ugly orange strips out of my headlights so someone else can benefit. I did this in December of 2003, and the headlights have a perfect seal through all seasons and weather conditions.

I want to trade my cleared headlamps for a set of stock headlamps. I am starting a new project and need new headlights. I will attach a pic for those who have not seen them. Please post here so everyone knows who gets first dibs. If one falls through I will go to the next in line.

I prefer to trade them local so the person I am trading can see the headlights first. Both headlights have minor scratches which I will post soon. Most people do not see them unless I point them out, but they are there, and I want everyone to know before I ship the lights.

 

Drivers side...

 

There is a series of tiny horizontal lines that go up near the hood. I believe this is actually some type of mfg. defect, but te lines are about 1/8" or less wide, and an inch long. Hard to see it unless you strain, and you cannot feel it on the headlight at all.
