The transition is solely up to the tuner. You can tune out 99% of the transition by closely matching ecu/utec timing at crossover. It takes time to do, and lots of tuners tune only wot, and neglect low end, and crossover.

The new wrx firmware now has a feature which makes transitions even less noticable by delaying the crossover and interpolating the values.

As far as using hyper term, i dont mind it. It is simple and can be run on palm's and such.

650cc Injectors and 15-20psi of boost...600-700whp. THere are situations where you need more than 50% fuel enrichement, which I was told was the limit of the UTEC's MAF correction capability. Now, since the larger injectors will be scales to -50%, then you really have 100% addition...if that makes sense. But at some point, you might run out of correction...that is the unknown...and we will soon find out.

They probally dont have open loop fueling avail then, i am sure it will be soon. When you have that, you have the ability to scale the injectors.. We have run 850cc injectors at 35psi with no issues. Before we had OLF there was huge offsets in the fuel map however which is probally what you are refering to.
