Default Air/Fuel (Ecu) Tuning Options ?

What options are there for tuning ? --- NA ONLY ---
  1. Technosquare ECU
  2. SAFC
  3. Unichip
  4. UTEC

Technosquare ECU
(convinced myself not to go with that due to many reviews read on here)

SAFC
(Too basic, plus no advantage on iginition timing possibly?) Cheap.

Unichip
(I am a dealer for these guys, haven't used their products yet)
These guys are so specific they need to which intake you have, what model, short or cold, exhaust, what type, if its true dual ...They have over 12 maps for the 350z alone..... but anyone on here has experiences with the product on here ??

UTEC
Always known for its turbo maps for WRX's, saw a thread on here for tuning NA's --- release date not out yet

Am I missing anything ? Please post if you have personal experience with any of these tuning devices or if you have another not mentioned.

Thanks in advance!

Emanage Ultimate. It works very well. Sharif@ForgedInternals is the goto guy on the technical side of it. There are many posts about it, as well. I have had mine installed for a couple of months and have had no problems. It allows for A/F tuning, ignition advance/retard, target A/F (with a wideband controller), and it alsoallows for some really good, real time datalogging. Check it out.

Theres only one guy in wisconsin that knows about E-Manage, and I am not a big greddy fan of their electronic products.

There is hardware issue on some of their stuff, so much so I fix it before I sell it to a customer

Isn't there certain things that reflashing your ecu can do for u as oppose to the emanage ultimate?? Such as takin away the rev limiter and other stuff??

Yes, the flash can raise the rev limiter, allow 100% throttle opening and remove the speed limiter, among other things. That is why I did the flash, to get me close to my tune, as well as the above items, and then I got the Emanage Ultimate for fine tuning and future upgrades that change my tune.

What bad things have you guys heard from TS ? I thought their customers were happy with their reflashes. I was going to take my car there for a reflash soon. Is it a good idea?
