Default Piggyback or full ECU reflash?

If I want to tune my Z to make the best of my current mods and more in the future...what's the best thing to do?

I don't know of any programmable ECU's for the Z. I know Technosquare has a 350z reflash and I know there are piggyback systems, but I don't know of any for the Z. What I'd prefer is too take my Z someplace, have it tuned on a dyno then flashed. Thus not having to buy any flasher or new unit.

Any tips on this? My searches here are only bringing up reflashes for guys with FI. I really just want to make the best of what I have right now and when I get the Kinetix intake manifold.

I'd go with UTEC. I dont like technosqure only b/c they overcharge for what you get and you might need 2-3 reflashes to get it just right. u'd be better getting a piggy back that you can have tuned near your house. UTEC is the newest piggy back out and although it isnt the most powerful tuner comp (compared to fcon and motec), it is most cost effective

Seriously consider both a reflash and a piggyback. The reflash will equalize the 2 default timing maps to avoid the unpredictable ecu map switching under various loads, and the piggyback can be used for the fine tuning of the fuel. Other than a HKS fcon V-pro or Motec standalone, I think this is the safest strategy.

For a 350Z....AFC's might be fine for a dyno queen for very fine tuning. For any car that is street driven it is extremely crude and does not take into account different load points. It is a full throttle open loop bandaid.
