Question Ideal A/F value?

My question; what is the ideal A/F ratio for a N/A Z?

I've done quite a bit of searching and never found a real soild answer.

My dyno graphs seem to point that 13.0 is ideal, and i've seen a few people say that 12.1 is good.

13.0-13.5:1 is ideal NA for the Z. 12:1 is too rich NA. My car makes good power at a perfect 13:1 NA across the board...

you want to run a bit richer on f/i'ed cars. cylinder pressures and heat is higher for f/i. richening it up will help slow the flame front and combustion will be a tad cooler.

For FI you would want 11:1-11.5:1

Just a Pop-charger. Thankfully I have an Apexi Safc-II to tune it.

Every car, depending on mods, temp, elavation, etc...its going to make peak power at a different AF ratio. The last couple of NA cars we tuned responded best at 12.0:1 with more power and curve across the board. Remember that AF ratio is also effected by timing advance, so both timing and fuel need to balanced, and there isnt necessarily a BEST AF ratio. It needs to be discussed in relation to the timing profile, and also the type of fuel you are running. But as a general rule...12.0 to 13.0 is going to be a good range to target.

Sharif hit the nail on the head. Assuming stock ecu and 93 Octane we find best power with the flash and UTEC or Emanage is between ~12.5 to ~13.
