Emanage Ultimate NO IGNITION TIMING NO START
Guys n Gals,
I am trying to get this darn Emanage ULtimate working on my car. Everything Is wired correctly. This is my second EU I get absolutly ZERO ignition timing. When I go into data logging when I crank the motor I get nothing zlich zip zero. I have injector pulse width in and out, I have MAF in and out everything except for timing. I have a base map from our good friend Sharif so I am 99% sure that is correct. I have triple check the jumpers everything. I feel like ripping this darn thing out and doing a jig on it. So any pointers or help. Hopefully this is something simple.

There was a problem with the Greddy wiring diagram. The injector and ignition locations were mixed on there's from the web site. Definately get another diagram and you should get her up. Well unless its the EU.

Well the blasted thing is When I unplug the IGN harness and jump those 12 wires 1in to 1 out and so on to #6 it fires up. I have double check all the settings in the software, jumpers, wireing and so forth. At this point i am very un happy with the Greddy Emanage Ultimate. I have been talking with Sharif on the matter and we are both stumped. Well at least this happen on my car and not a customer car. So if anyone has had a issue with the EU not starting and Not seeing a IGN signal in your data log please chime in and let me know how you fixxed this. I might go back to the SS box shortly.

Yea I have it wired pin location on a autosport harness. I have checked continuety (sp) on all the wires. And when I jump the wires car fires up. So the wiring is fine I just find it hard to beileve that I have had 3 bad EU's. I am considering purchasing the AEM stand alone at this point I have over 20 hr's of my time into wiring head skratching, ball sweat and so forth. I am happy this is my car and not a customers. SO CLOSE YET SO FAR AWAY

I still can't figure out why my EU could possibly cause a SES light for the thermostat. But it does.

Ok found the isolated the problem in either the autosport harness, or the emanage harness. Re wired with new auto sport and new EU harness car fired right up. Wired exactly the same on both harness leads me to believe that a pins on the autosport are not connecting with the main harness.

I have 04 350Z, I think from research i need to buy the autosports harness to addapt the eu harness to my ecu. I could not belive the ecu harness pin diagram didn't match the actual wires on the harness. I have ordered a shop repair manual for 295.00, and hope that the diagram I found from Jim Wolf racing is wrong. Luckly the male and female conectors I started wiring plug back into each other were I cut them for injector wiring in and out. The car did fire right back up and ran fine. The only reason for EU is when I put the new Kinetix ssv on, it started running real fat, and is dying about 30% of the time when I go to stop. The only mods I have are Nismo Headers, Borla True Dual Exhaust, Kinetix ssv, Nismo Intake, and un orthodox Pullies

I heard that ths SSV does not flow as well as everyone thought. Thats the only reason I can think of it being richer, flowing more air would be much leaner. Get the AutoSport Harness it will make your life much easier. Follow the directions carefully triple check and enjoy. One thing you should check is the settings in the software and jsut make sure you haave it setup correctly. Have fun.
