Default If you have TS or AAM ECU flash..PLease come In!

I want to know how its been going with your ECU reflash? How long have you been running it and was it custom tune (on dyno)? Have you had any problems?

I am really considering getting a ECU reflash, I have searched and read most threads. From what I have read its been 50-50. Some people said they kept having to send it back for reflashing 3-4 times?

I have an 03 coupe with AAM spacer z-tube and y-pipe.

Does the AAM open the throttle 100%?

Please mention which one you have (TS-AAM)

You wont need a reflash just with a spacer, Z tube and a Y-pipe. You should dyno and see if you are running lean enough to get a reflash. Usually you only need to reflash if you have I/H/E and HFC's/TP's, mods that will affect your air/fuel. I have a TS custom reflash and love it. Only did it once and and have no problems. Car pulls harder throughout the rpm range.

There is plenty of tuning advise in the tuning forum. Lord knows why they put it there.

With the mods you have, it's not worth getting reflash.
When you get headers, exhaust, and test pipes/cats, you should get reflash.

I'm thinking of getting the AAM Flash. Just waiting on someone to start a group buy for it or something. I just think $559 is way too much for a flash.

Honestly ... I plan on just getting the l-spec flash for 250 or whatever it is (removes the rev limit to 7200 only) ... and then tuning with E-manage.

WOW, subaru guys can't get an ECUtek flash for less than $675 + tuning. 559 seems pretty good to me.
