what other measures have been taken to diagnose the CEL? YOu told me that it sputters after 3000rpm... If the timing is indeed off and this is our error, please let me know and we will do everything in our power to rectify the situation, I hope this isn't the case, as this is a huge PITA for you and an embarrassment for us...but like I said, if this is the case, we will make it right .

Call me anytime when you have a definitive answer,

Thanks Todd!
My guy is researching it right now. We'll do a "differential diagnosis", eliminating the easy fixes 1st, before moving on to the more substantial work.
Damn Nissan for putting those little cam marks on the back side!!

Let me know, our engine builder is so meticulous, if he allowed a motor to leave here that was timed incorrectly, we'll have to lock him in the closet for a week ... no really, I will be very suprised if he made an error in this process, as he checks, double checks, and then a second person rechecks...but unfortunately, "to error is human" , and like I said, we'll make it right if it was our error
