Default General cost of UTEC tuning for NA?

I'd like to get a balllpark figure from some of the experienced tuners on here...

Approximately how long (in hours) does it usually take to tune an NA Z with basic bolt-on mods (intake/plenum/pulley/exhaust mods), and what is the average (again, ballpark figure please, not looking for quotes) charge to tune?

Also, let's assume the UTEC is already installed, so don't include installation costs.

450 to 700 dollars is what you are looking at for a full tune....

450 being the cheap cheapest and 750 is a fully guaranteed making hp tune...!!!

edit, i see that you have minor bolt ons, you will be able to get it for less... i was thinking of a full turbo tune

a good tune will take a couple hours on the dyno and a couple hours on the street..

you can expect 8-20 hp depending on what your stock ecu is doing to adjust for your mods..

For an NA tune, we charge $375-$400. FI tunes are $675 for one map. Some shops will charge more or less, but we've found that a complete dyno and road tune takes about 3-6 hours of our time, to achieve perfection. We don't just make 5 WOT dyno pulls and call it a day.

Sharif, when you do an NA tune, what do you do about the knock sensor if the owner didn't opt for one?

Whats up! I'm getting one in a couple of weeks, then Ztampa and I are going to Z-fever with a well known local 240 tuner(his old dyno) for a private dyno day type of thing. We could split costs if you'll have a UTEC by then.

All of the UTEC's have knock feedback, so we tune with it..no issues. The customer doesnt have to purchase a Tuner Pro in order for us to tune their car. We use the Tuner pro in-house, depending on the application.

Depending on the state of your factory tune...anywhere from 8-20 ft/lbs and whp improvement.

minus the pulleys. is a technosquare reflash better or a tune by GT motorsports or any other tuning company? any suggestions and reasons why?

i would say that a real good reflash and a tune would be the same. both of them should get the air fuel and timing in the right spot. a tune might take less tries to get it right. myself i would rather have a unit i could tune myself and play with so i would lean towards a utec. good luck on either!!
