Have a look at this log.
I have been having issues with timing and knock on the UTEC. Hell, I can't even get over 6000 rpms. The UTEC is sensing knock and pulling timing. I know that it is really rich over 5000 and I have since leaned it out. Look at all the knocks the UTEC is picking up, but it seems that the stock ECU isn't picking it up. The stock ECU is retarding timing. I have the timing all the way back to 8-9 degrees and the power sucks over 5000 and it is still picking up alot of knock!!!
It has been the 4000-6000 range where all this occurs. The UTEC knock sensitivity in those ranges are:
4000-5000 = "85"
5000-6000 = "80"
I haven't messed with the knock settings other than changing the threshhold count to "3."

there is no way I am going to redo all of my maps to try using MAF Pull up/down. anyway, you'll max out the maf pretty quickly on boost.
I am using the MAP functions to control fuel and timing.

If I were you I would try getting on the freeway, and doing some logs at 100% TPS in 4th gear.. Its hard to nail down your A/F when in 3rd.. Also pull the sens. back to like 65 and give it a whirl..

the funny thing is I have never heard my car ping when I am getting these reports. That is understandable......here's a strange one though:
I used to have "ecu" set on some of my timing points in the lower rpms of the lower load columns. One time, I hit 5 psi at about 2500 rpm while the ECU was still controlling the timing and I could hear the pinging very clearly. Funny thing is that neither the UTEC nor the ECU picked it up, nor did it pull any timing!!!
Needless to say, I went back and made alot of changes to the lower rpm timing points.
