Default So..why are my tips black all the damn time?

I can't figure out why my exhaust tips are black all the time. I dont see any fuel collecting or any black soot or gas coming out. Its always clear. Ive been told by people following me i dont put out black smoke, but somehow, i can get black exhasut tips in 2 days! wtf?

Default Try not driving above 4500rpms...

I have heard that our cars run rich over like 5k RPMs.

If I drive easy for a week, no black on the tips...

If I get on it to redline, I get black on the bottom of the tips.

Also, moisture can condense inside the pipes and you'll spew water out, which makes the tips black.

I think it's normal....

normal... probably happens most on cold starts where the motor runs rich until it warms up all the way.

Haha slightly joking with the Pam.... but uh coating them with nonstick spray helps to keep the carbon from sticking for a while same principle as waxing some wheels

Bah idk. And damn that guy got real mad. I guess he doesn't know i have the 2.5'' system?

Idk, its just weird that it actually makes the tips black on thsi exhaust, but not aps and stock whcih also had straight pipes. I guess wax should do it.
